This short article summarizes the relationship between Salt and High Blood Pressure.

Remember, your body removes unwanted fluid by filtering your blood through your kidneys. That is, the kidney sucks any extra fluid in the blood and puts it into your bladder to be removed as urine.

The result is a higher blood pressure due to the extra or excess fluid in the blood.

Salt in itself is necessary for the normal functioning of the body system but this  article serves to remind us of the need for Moderation. Like they say,  too much of everything is bad.
